Everest Basecamp Trek November 2020
In November 2020, 17 enthusiastic trekkers will head off to Nepal to raise funds and experience this iconic trek first-hand. They will trek and climb to 18,500ft to see the sun set over Everest, and clock up around 80 miles in the process. It’s a tough trek, and their training regime will involve five preparation weekends away in the Lake District and Peak Districts where they will be put through their paces. They will be looking for sponsorship to help build schools in Nepal, and when every penny is matched by St. James’s Place, in support of other worthy causes in UK and abroad. It will be a very big tick on many people’s bucket list, and a unique insight into Nepal, its mountains, and the local community. Trekkers pay all their own costs and will be trying to raise at least £5000 (that will be doubled) for worthy causes in Nepal, the UK, and abroad. Every penny raised goes to the charities.
Keep abreast of Updates as the team progress through training and the Nepal towards the highest point on the planet.
