After going to Nepal as a member of the 2022 Build and Trek team, Gareth fell in love with Nepal and her people and knew instantly that he wanted to become part of the team that can make a real difference to the young people of Nepal. So strong was Gareth’s passion for the charity that he has joined the board of trustees and oversees the strategy and internal operations and is excited to see it flourish and grow in the future.

 

Gareth is returning to Nepal in 2024, again as part of the Build and Trek team, and this time he is taking his youngest son, Miles.

 

Gareth is currently a co-owner of one of the UK’s leading firms of Chartered Financial Planners, and, prior to setting up his own business, he has held senior management positions in FTSE 100 companies and therefore brings a wealth of experience at strategic and organisational levels to the board.
